On assuming control in 2004, the Financial Services Authority looks set to turn up the heat on training and competence. Rachel Gordon considers the impact on the industry - brokers outside BIBA and retail companies for whom, so far, the issue has been on the back burner.

Axa Partners hit with FCA limitations

Following the Which? super complaint, the Financial Conduct Authority has told Axa Partners UK it cannot grow its current customer base without written permission from the regulator.
