L&G records general insurance COR of 88% as new business jumps 38%
Legal & General reported this morning that its general insurance business recorded £304m of gross written premium in 2011.
L&G added that new business premium income grew by 38% to £110m (2010: £80m) as a result of building the company's presence in the direct market and continuing to develop key broker relationships.
