ABI’s Skeet leaving UK insurance for Bermudan tax

Mervyn Skeet, director of general insurance policy at the Association of British Insurers, is leaving the trade body to become CEO of the Bermuda Corporate Income Tax Agency.

Skeet, pictured, who has been with the ABI for seven years and was previously head of tax and London Market, is tasked with building a Corporate Income Tax agency to administer and collect Bermuda’s
