What would you title your autobiography?

It All Started in a Potato Crate.

If you could learn any new skill, what would it be?

How to play the piano.

If you could be a fictional character for a day, who would you choose and why?

Han Solo, the greatest pilot in the galaxy, a lovable iconic rogue – I’m a huge Star Wars fan and have enjoyed re-living the old and latest movies with my daughter.

What chore do you hate the most?

It has to be anything to do with decorating or DIY… I have zero skill, and zero patience for either!

What would you tell your 18-year-old self?

The sooner you learn to believe in yourself, the sooner others will believe in you, and ensure you keep time aside for your grandparents, they are not around forever (and also learn how to play the piano and sing).

What song is guaranteed to make you smile or dance?

Too many to choose from… either “Kickstarts” by Example or “Sandstorm” by Darude.

What sporting event would you like to attend?

The Ryder Cup, preferable when Europe are at home, and sat somewhere in the first tee grandstand as the groups first go out.

What’s your favourite band or artist?

It is tough to name just one. I would say one of either Oasis, the Happy Mondays/Black Grape, or the Manic Street Preachers.

What is one thing you couldn’t live without?

My iPhone! It seems crazy but whether it’s work, home, holiday or family, it is always involved in everything I do.

It’s just the norm now… everyone is using their mobile phone to do most things from turning on the dishwasher to booking a holiday.

How do you define success?

Gaining the trust and respect of your team, your peers, and your friends.
