Liberty Mutual to acquire Ironshore for $3bn
Liberty Mutual Insurance is to acquire Ironshore, a global specialty lines company, from Chinese conglomerate Fosun International.
Liberty Mutual will acquire a 100% ownership interest in Ironshore. The purchase price is estimated to be approximately $3bn (£2.3bn) which equates to 1.45x Ironshore's book value as of year-end 2016
