CFC
Specialist lines underwriting agency, CFC has appointed Natasha Catchpole to build a new team focused on developing product recall solutions. Formerly an underwriter at Ark Syndicate Management where she spent just over three years writing product contamination and product recall business, Catchpole has been working in the London insurance market for over 20 years. Previous roles include almost five years as an underwriter at XL Insurance specialising in product recall and over four years at QBE focused on D&O and management liability. Covéa
Covéa Insurance has further expanded its London-based trading team with the addition of new assistant underwriter Holly Simpkin within its real estate team. MSIG at Lloyd’s
MSIG at Lloyd’s, the international specialty arm of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group, has appointed Katie Wolff as e-trading and digitisation manager to develop and implement the Syndicate’s online trading strategy. Wolff, who will report to Andrew Dougall, head of property and casualty, has extensive electronic trading, operations and business development experience. She joins from Arthur J Gallagher where she was director of e-underwriting.

Ryan Direct Group
Ryan Direct Group, the Doncaster-based insurance services business that is part of Ryan Specialty Group, has appointed Matthew Turner into a new role as head of claims development, reporting to claims business unit director Russell Crewe. Turner joins from Davies Group, where he was a director. He spent three years at Davies in a number of senior claims roles, joining them in 2013 after 12 years at Merlin. Tokio Marine Kiln
Tokio Marine Kiln has promoted Paul Culham to the role of chief underwriting officer of its Lloyd’s platform, Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicates, subject to regulatory approval. Culham has been active underwriter of the marine and special risks
and enterprise risk divisions within Lloyd’s Syndicate 510 since 2007 and 2011 respectively. He joined TMK in 1987 on the Kiln graduate programme before specialising in cargo business then turning his attentions to political
risks. He became deputy underwriter of the marine and special Risks team in 2001. Culham succeeds Richard Lewis who will remain group chief underwriting officer concentrating on underwriting performance and ensuring the successful delivery of the group strategy.


MGAs

Modus
E-trading specialist MGA Modus has hired Louise Alexander Doyle as head of product development. Doyle joins Modus from E-underwriting, part of Arthur J Gallagher, where she was head of product development. Prior to that, she held ecommerce and underwriting roles at Direct Line Group, Towergate and Wesleyan. In her new role, Doyle will be responsible for building and leading a product development team tasked with launching e-traded products in both personal and commercial lines segments.


Claims

Delta Claims Services
Delta Claims Services has signed up two owner operators, Lee Stevens and Mike Hodgson, who will trade under the company’s adjusting franchise model and operate from their office bases of Birmingham and Bristol respectively. Stevens has more than 27 years’ industry experience and has had spells with McLarens Bristol and Argent Liability Adjusters. Hodgson started his career as a liability claims handler for Ecclesiastical, moving to an adjusting position with PCS, before joining Argent.
