Addresscloud’s Varley says outdated AI data is a major risk
The impact of AI using outdated and poor-quality information could create far-reaching consequences regarding climate change-related events, according to Addresscloud’s co-founder and CEO Mark Varley.
When insurers and third-party platforms use “brilliant” authoritative sources for AI, particularly for natural catastrophe models, Varley said the data can be low-quality even by being a few years old
