Justice Committee relaunches court delay inquiry
The Justice Select Committee has announced today (21 January) that it is to reinstate its previously announced inquiry into the work of the County Court following complaints regarding court capacity and resources.
The inquiry was previously announced in October 2023 following calls to address court wait times but was interrupted following the dissolution of Parliament prior to last year’s general election.
