SFO spent £9.5m on Quindell investigation
The Serious Fraud Office spent £9.5m on its six-year criminal investigation into historic accounting practices at outsourcer Quindell, Post can reveal.
Having initially opened the case in August 2015, the SFO last month confirmed it had closed its investigation and that it had insufficient evidence to support a prosecution.
It had previously stated
