Horwich Farrelly's tactics to ditch plastic
Horwich Farrelly has pledged to eliminate all single-use plastic items by 2020 and is encouraging its 750 employees to document creative ways to reduce their own plastic consumption. The two winners of an internal competition will be rewarded with a volunteering expedition to Belize.
The insurance law firm is headquartered in Greater Manchester, which wants to become the first UK city-region to ditch single-use plastics within the next two years.
