Aviva's global profits jump 13%; GI COR rises
Aviva had a mixed first half to the year as its life insurance division performed well and its general insurance profits fell.
Aviva's first half year profits increased 13% to £1.33bn compared with £1.17bn in the same period last year.
The profit increase was driven by growth in UK life insurance with a further three months
