ABI condemns increased meso compensation
The Association of British Insurers has condemned plans by the government to increase damages awarded to mesothelioma sufferers who are unable to trace a liable insurer.
The Department of Work and Pensions announced today that mesothelioma sufferers would now be able to claim up to £123 000 from an insurer-funded pool, starting from April.
