Bennetts targets coverage shortfall with modifications policy
Motorcycle insurance specialist Bennetts is hoping to take advantage of a dearth in coverage among riders who make adjustments to their bikes by introducing a policy that covers the 16 most common modifications as standard.
According to a survey carried out by independent market research company IPSOS Mori, 83% of riders have carried out modifications to their bikes, yet only 56% are actually disclosed to their insurers
