ipod

Britons have lost more than two billion pieces of digital media content, for example songs and apps, in the last two years, research from Sainsbury’s Bank home insurance has found.

Most of the lost content is a result of electronic devices being lost, damaged or stolen with the content being unrecoverable.

The research estimated the value of this lost content at more than £1bn.
