L&G chalks up 4% GWP increase amid record gains
Legal and General’s general insurance business achieved gross written premium growth of £86m, up 4% on the first quarter of last year (£83m).
Group protection sales were up 67% to £20m (Q1 2012: £12m), operational cash general increased 13% to £281m and net cash generation grew by 19% to £249m (Q1 2012: £210m).
