Market Moves: Bluefin makes two key hires, while it was a busy week for insurers too
In a week in which cross-industry recruitment arrived thick and fast, Bluefin was the firm flying the flag for the broking sector, having announced two key hires in the form of a non-executive chairman and a head of high net worth. Not to be outdone by their broking peers, a number of hires were also completed by insurers, with Ace and QBE among those bringing in fresh blood.
• Among insurers, April UK has appointed Ann Schuster as business development manager. Schuster joins the health and protection insurance specialist with more than 23 years’ experience in the industry
