Chris Blackham, founder of consolidator Layton Blackham, has been appointed non-executive director on the board of UK General Insurance.
Blackham, pictured, joined the business on 1 December. The entrepreneur founded Layton Blackham in 1984 and ran it until 2007, during which time he managed the merger and acquisition of over 30 other
