Private equity firm GTCR has acquired Premium Credit from Bank of America affiliate MBNA Europe in a deal worth £900m.

GTCR has partnered with new chief executive Andrew Doman, pictured, formerly chairman and CEO of Russell Investments and head of insurance consulting at McKinsey & Co London, and the Premium Credit
