BGL founder steps down as chairman
BGL Group has confirmed the departure of company founder Douw Steyn, who has stepped down from his role as non-executive chairman 20 years after setting up the UK business.
The exit has been described as "administrative rather than strategic" and coincides with the fact that the South African entrepreneur has not taken an active role in the firm for "some time".
