Aviva UK GI CEO McMillan backs “life heavyweight” Matthews to manage GI responsibilities
Aviva UK general insurance chief executive David McMillan has insisted the appointment of “life insurance heavyweight” Trevor Matthews to replace the outgoing Mark Hodges as UK CEO will not impact the firm’s ability to serve general insurance customers.
Mr Matthews was earlier confirmed as the replacement for Mr Hodges, who was today also unveiled as Andy Homer’s replacement as Towergate group chief executive.
Mr Hodges handed in his resignation
