Merger activity on the up

Insurance accountancy firm Moore Stephens has credited the banking sector for the resurgence of merger and acquisition activity among insurance intermediaries.

According to Moore Stephens insurance industry group partner Stuart Markley, competitive terms of lending has seen even relatively small intermediaries consider buying other companies.

He told Post:
