Biba welcomes NY broker commission stance
The British Insurance Brokers' Association has welcomed the decision by US insurance officials to allow three major brokers to resume accepting contingent commission, bringing legislation more in line with the UK.
Aon, Marsh and Willis have agreed to new disclosure regulations that come into effect from 1 January 2011 — six years after they were initially banned from accepting contingent commissions.
The ban
