Zurich and JLT team up for supply chain launch

The Wates Group is piloting the use of Subguard, an insurance product which is widely used in the US, to give customers and the supply chain greater protection and security in response to challenging market conditions.

Wates claims to be the first company in the UK to use Subguard in partnership with Zurich Global Corporate UK and Jardine Lloyd Thompson.

In a statement Wates said: "The goal of this new risk
