Highway pays out £6.8m in personal injury care case
Highway Insurance has agreed to pay £6.8m in an out-of-court settlement to a car crash victim in a dispute over whether it or the local authority should pay for the man's care.
Paul White, 26, suffered severe injuries after a road accident in 2000, and the case reached the High Court today over whether his compensation should take into account local authority social services
