Mapfre Q1 net profit up slightly
Spanish (re)insurer Mapfre said that first quarter net profit rose slightly to €287m, helped by strong gains in its international division.
Total premium income rose 11.1% to €4.5bn, helped by progress at the international division, which saw premium income jump to €467.7m, up from €135.4m in the first quarter of 2008.However, Mapfre
