This company aims to reduce the cost of work-related insurance claimsby around 10% by managing the process of rehabilitation for theemployee.
Its work is best illustrated by the case studies that can be downloadedfrom the website as PDFs. The first one illustrates how the management ofa personnel problem can get completely out of hand and requires theintervention of a third-party to get the situation moving and ultimatelyresolved again (it's a frustrating-to-read story about an employee with asmall back injury who was signed off work for 12 months before HCML gotinvolved).
The company is new and its service to the insurance industry is also arecent idea. The website could do more to effectively communicate exactlywhat it offers insurance companies and how it can get involved in theprocess to reduce costs.
As a business-to-business firm, HCML should be really strong on targetingits customer base with specific tailored content. The cast studies aregreat, but they are just there. The site should provide specific contentfor insurance companies detailing what types of insurer would benefit fromthe services on offer and how the insurer can go about getting HCMLinvolved. It is generally considered to be a good thing for an insurer toinitiate action for personal injury claimants because the ultimate size ofthe claim can be substantially reduced with early treatment. This is theline the website should be pushing hard.
Aside from the content, the design is a bit amateurish. The use of largetext looks a bit childish and some of the pages contain large, unexplainedblocks of space. Easily fixed though.
