Ombudsman strengthens approach to vulnerability

The Financial Ombudsman Service is strengthening its approach to vulnerability, and how it supports people where the impact of a financial dispute may be especially severe.

“Supporting vulnerable customers is not a bolt-on at the Financial Ombudsman Service. It is embedded across everything we do,” Rachel Lam, the ombudsman’s managing director, told delegates in a speech
