Exceptional items put UK General in the red in 2016/17
UK General made an operating loss of £714,879 for the year ending 31 March 2017, compared to a profit of £8.7m in the previous year.
Operating profit dropped 40% to £5.2m from £8.7m in 2016. The group saw a 13% drop in turnover, which totalled £15.3m, with administrative costs totalling £16m, £5.9m of which was down to “exceptional
