Unite slams Aviva over potential plans to cut 120 jobs

A union has hit out at “simply unacceptable” plans by Aviva to close its Southend office, putting 120 jobs at risk.

Unite said it would oppose any plans to force compulsory redundancies on staff affected by the restructure.

Aviva plans to move its commercial property team to Perth by May next year. Some 86 staff
