Ifed steps up fight against spoof insurer websites
The Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department has teamed up with the UK domain registry, Nominet, to prevent criminals spoofing recognised insurance companies online.
In February five people, including a former police officer, were arrested after an operation by Ifed identified several fraudulent websites purporting to be legitimate insurance companies.
Meanwhile
