Subsidence claims hit £153m in H1 2025
Subsidence-related insurance claims totalled £153m in the first half of 2025, according to data from the Association of British Insurers.
Over the first six months of the year, insurers dealt with subsidence claims from almost 9000 households, with the average pay-out per claim standing at £17,264.
The ABI’s figures follow unusually high
