As the coronavirus outbreak continues, Simon Brooks, co-head of Eversheds Sutherland Global Insurance Group, argues while much is being said publicly about the availability of cover for Covid-19 related losses, there is such a wide variety of business interruption policy wordings out there, that any general statement is not that informative.
The Association of British Insurers has said most businesses will not have bought notifiable disease extensions to their business interruption insurance, but very many have.
But it doesn’t stop
