Insured property damage from deadly Japanese earthquakes could total £2bn, says AIR Worldwide
Insured damage from last week's two Japanese earthquakes could cost insurers up to £2bn estimates catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide.
The two earthquakes on the 14 and 16 April which struck the Kumamoto Prefecture on Japan’s Kyushu Island could see insurers payout between 180bn yen (£1.14bn) and 320bn yen for property damage alone.
