Explosions in China and Taiwan kill scores

75 people died in a chemical plant explosion in Kunshan (Jiangsu province, China) and a gas pipe explosion killed 27 people in Taiwan.

The Jiangsu explosion, at a paint supplier to General Motors, happened over the weekend, whilst the explosion in Kaohsiung, Taiwan occurred last week.

More than 180 people were injured at the Chinese
