Hiscox faces £100m Cat losses
Hiscox has estimated that it faces £100m worth of claims as a result of the Chilean earthquake and the European windstorm Xynthia.
The Bermuda-based insurer said that loss estimation, particularly around the very severe earthquake in Chile, remains at an early stage so considerable uncertainties exist.
In a statement it added:
