Uninsured drivers in Ireland increase premiums by €40
Motor group the AA has found in a survey that 7% of drivers are hit by uninsured drivers in the Republic of Ireland.
When a car is hit by an uninsured driver, the Motor Insurance Bureau, an industry body, pays out to the victims. The body then may need to raise more money by charging more for motor insurance
