Insurance bill nearly AUS$100m from fires
The insurance bill from the devastating New South Wales fires that have rocked the Blue Mountains is almost AUDS$100m and is likely to rise higher as many fires still rage.
The Insurance Council of Australia has estimated the fires are so far likely to cost the insurance industry AUS$94m ($91m) as 855 claims have already been made as a result of an outbreak of bushfires
