Aviva has warned fraudsters against submitting bogus claims ahead of the Association of British Insurers' fraud conference tomorrow.
Tom Gardiner, head of loss prevention at Aviva, said: "The message to the minority of people who are thinking of submitting a fraudulent claim is: don't.
"The likelihood is that you will be caught
