RSA boss: cold snap could push up rates
RSA's UK chief executive has said the insurance industry's experience of weather-related claims this winter has the potential to push up household rates in the long term.
Adrian Brown defended the insurer's performance in its handling of the deluge of claims over the winter, after it received 8000 burst pipe claims, at an average cost of £6700, since 1 November 2010.
