Quinn loses legal battle

A Court of Appeal judgment will have major implications for insurers seeking access to confidential documents that could enable them to refuse indemnity according to law firm Browne Jacobson.

It follows the decision by the Court of Appeal in the case of Quinn Direct Insurance v The Law Society, first reported by Post in October 2009.
