Insurance Premium Tax rises to 12%
Insurance Premium Tax has today risen from 10% to 12% as outlined by Chancellor Philip Hammond in November.
The increase marks the second rise in two years, with IPT increasing from 6% to 9.5% in November 2015 and then from 9.5% to 10% on in October last year.
