Market Moves: Big names Sime and Giles among this week's notable departures

There were high-profile changes within both the insurer and broking arenas this week – with two significant moves involving senior figures at major organisations. At RSA, long-serving employee Chris Sime revealed his decision to walk away from his director role to explore pastures new, while Chris Giles signaled his intention to distance himself from Giles Insurance ahead of focusing on American business ambitions. Elsewhere, other industry players were busy bolstering their various divisions, with Lockton and RFIB among brokers hitting the recruitment trail.

In the insurer space, RSA sales and strategic relationships director Chris Sime has signalled his intention to leave the firm where he has spent the past 25 years.
