Premiums for young female drivers rise as UK average drops
Car insurance premiums for female drivers aged between 17 and 22 rose by 4.8% over the first quarter, bucking a national trend which has seen a drop in the average price quoted for comprehensive car insurance policies.
According to the AA British Insurance Premium Index, premiums for women aged 23 to 29 have increased by 1.6% since the start of the year, but for young male drivers aged from 17 to 22 the average
