AA finds home insurance premiums rising steadily
Home insurance premiums continued a steady upward trend towards the end of 2011, with the average quote for annual buildings, contents and for combined policies rising by 11% over the course of last year.
According to the AA British Insurance Premium Index, the last three months of 2011 saw an increase in buildings premiums of 3.1% to £156.95 - an annual increase of 9.5%, while contents premiums rose 4
