Market moves: Insurers and consultants up the pace

Revolving door

As the insurance sector settles into 2012 its activity in the recruitment space has gathered momentum. Insurers had a busy week, with Markel, Mitsui Sumitomo and Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance bringing in fresh faces. Brokers, meanwhile, had another strong seven days, with Cooper Gay, Jelf, Marsh, and Giles all adding to their ranks. A number of appointments were made in the consultancy space with Towers Watson, Capita, Kane and Celent ringing the changes. Affinity player Junction, risk management firm Aon Risk Solutions and Lloyd’s also made hires this week.
