Axa bosses have this afternoon revealed they have received three and a half times the usual number of storm claims over the past 24 hours.
As torrential wind and rain continues to batter northern parts of the UK experts at the insurer have vowed to continue to "carefully monitor the situation" amid fears that the severe weather
