CUE: How to boost fraud prevention

Since 1994, the Claims and Underwriting Exchange (CUE) has helped insurers verify an individual’s household, motor or personal injury claims history.

The data held on CUE comprises motor, home and personal injury/industrial illness incidents reported to insurance companies, which may or may not have given rise to a claim. As a centralised industry database, populated collectively by insurers, the information held within CUE provides insurers with a powerful fraud fighting tool.

This content sheds light on how insurers can leverage CUE to boost fraud prevention.

Topics covered include:
• Introduction to Claims and Underwriting Exchange (CUE).
• Combating fraud with the power of CUE.
• Navigating the challenges of CUE data quality.
• The Financial Conduct Authority quest to enhance credit information quality.
• Maximising CUE’s potential with CRIF’s data quality model.
