Ariel Re admitted as reinsurer in Brazil
The (re)insurer has also opened a representative office in Rio de Janeiro after its approval as an admitted reinsurer by regulator SUSEP
The reinsurers focus in Brazil will initially be on surety and trade credit reinsurance business, underwritten by its Zurich office.
The team will be managed by Thomas Rothenberger.
