Reinsurers should prepare for active 2010 hurricane season – TSR
Tropical Storm Risk (TSR), which provides real-time mapping and prediction of tropical cyclone windfields worldwide, anticipates Atlantic basin and US landfalling hurricane activity being 55% above the long-term (1950-2009) norm this summer.
In its pre-season outlook, TSR, which is part of Aon Benfield Research's new academic and industry collaboration, has said that there is a 77% probability of an above normal Atlantic hurricane season
