Platinum reports Q1 results slump
Platinum Underwriters' first-quarter profit fell 82% on lower earned premiums.
The Bermuda-based property and casualty reinsurer earned $15.4m, or 32 cents a share attributable to common shareholders, compared with $83.6m, or $1.58 a share, in Q1 2008.
Net premiums earned fell
